Youth Transit Audits
Thank you for your interest in CCSJ's Youth Transit Audit Project! Sign-ups are now closed.
If you would like to learn more about this project, email CCSJ Coalition Director Janice Li at jli@caasf.org.
As a part of Coalition for Community Safety and Justice (CCSJ), Chinese for Affirmative Action (CAA) is conducting transit safety audits in April and May with high school students. These audits are surveys that you will take while riding Muni, which will ask a range of questions about your transit experience with a focus on safety.
By filling out this form, you are signing up and committing to participating in one training session, completing one audit, and attending one focus group. There is a $150 participation stipend for completion.
We are offering both in-person and virtual options for training and focus groups, but we strongly encourage you to attend in-person if possible. The training will explain the purpose of this project and how to conduct an audit. Then, we will ask participants to complete an audit on their own, which includes taking a survey while riding Muni. Lastly, we’ll ask participants to attend a focus group to share their experience.
